I am a dentist in Bolton, Greater Manchester, that has worked in General Practice for over 40years. I have been a Practice owner for over 35years and have been an Educational Supervisor for Foundation training for 21 years. I am an Appraiser for BDA GPS and have been a mentor since 2014 – working for Health Education England, North West since 2017. I have been working with DMUK for the last 3 years and assisting dentists and healthcare professionals with their problems – with the GDC and NHSE. I have also worked as a Mentor and Workplace Supervisor to assist with Conditions and Undertakings. I can visit the Practice or have meetings via Zoom.

I have taken a lot from being able to use my expereince and knowledge, to assist colleagues in difficulty and help them work through their problems. I use a range of facilitation, assessment and feedback strategies as appropriate to the professional practice of dental care. I hope to use my knowledge to help the mentee find the right direction and develop solutions to their issues. I regularly attend courses to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.
