Areas of Practice: General Dental Practitioner and Clinical Development Advisor 

With over two decades of experience as a General Dental Practitioner, I have dedicated my career not only to providing high-quality patient care but also to supporting and developing the next generation of dental professionals. Since graduating in 2004 and relocating to the UK in 2006, I have built a long-standing relationship with my patients at the same dental practice, where I continue to practise today.

While I have a strong clinical interest in endodontics and clear aligner therapy, my greatest professional fulfilment comes from mentoring and guiding others. My journey as a mentor began in 2011 when I was invited to support a newly qualified dentist within our practice. What began as a single mentoring opportunity quickly evolved into a defining part of my career. Over the years, I have mentored ten newly qualified dentists and served as an Educational Supervisor for a Foundation Dentist for one academic year.

Through mentoring, I have developed a deep appreciation for the reciprocal nature of teaching and learning. Supporting new clinicians has not only allowed me to share my own experience and clinical knowledge but has also challenged me to continuously reflect on and refine my own practice. I take pride in creating an encouraging and supportive environment where mentees can grow in confidence, enhance their clinical skills, and navigate the challenges of early professional life.

In 2022, I was appointed as a Clinical Development Advisor, a role that has expanded my mentoring responsibilities to include supporting multiple clinicians across the organisation. This position has strengthened my leadership, communication, and coaching skills, as I now provide guidance on clinical governance and professional development.

My aim moving forward is to continue combining clinical practice with my passion for mentorship and professional development – helping dentists at all stages of their careers reach their full potential while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
