As a Dentist with over 30 years of experience in general practice, I have successfully transitioned into a fully private practice. Consequently, I understand the challenges and uncertainties that come with change, running a compliant business, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

My experience includes supporting dental registrants facing difficulties with the NHS or GDC Fitness to Practice process, from early initial complaints to erasure.

In my role as a GDC approved Development Advisor, I have helped individuals remediate poor performance in areas including record keeping, consent, radiography, cross infection control and dishonesty. I am also a Workplace Supervisor and Reporter and work with dental registrants in difficulty with the GDC, NHS and CQC. My strengths lie in helping registrants reflect deeply into their individual circumstances in order to minimise the risk of future repetition.

I conduct CPD courses on GDC Standards, record keeping, consent, complaints, and professionalism.
Having personally benefited from the guidance of mentors throughout my career, I understand the transformative power of being listened to without judgment. This experience has enabled me to achieve goals beyond my expectations.

Mentoring allows me to give something back to my profession and I firmly believe that we can all benefit from mentoring at various stages of our lives. I am here to provide empathetic guidance and support as you navigate your professional journey. I am currently the Chairperson of DMUK.
