Hoda is a Principal Lecturer in Medical & Dental Education and the Lead for Continuing Health Education Portfolio team at the University of Bedfordshire. She is an accredited mentor and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management. She is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE).

Having earned a PhD, a Clinical Masters in Dentistry (MClinDent), and a Master’s in Education, Hoda has a wide experience in teaching, learning and leading teams in the context of clinical education with an emphasis on dental practitioners. Hoda leads the Dental Education PgCert and the MA Dental Law and Ethics courses at the University of Bedfordshire with the Dental law and ethics course currently being the only university accredited course that focuses on dental practitioners. She is a non-clinical academic with a wealth of experience in teaching and learning in a clinical environment, ethical practice in a dentistry and supporting continuous professional development for general dental practitioners.

Hoda has a particular interest in ethical practice in dentistry, research innovation and mentoring with an emphasis on promoting team morale and fostering integration and she has a range of research projects and publications in these areas.
